Kundalini Daily Practice Durations
Whenever a student asks their teacher for guidance on how to use kundalini to work through a block or support manifest a specific intention, one of the most common responses will be for them to take up a daily personal practice - ideally in the shape of a kriya and meditation aligned to whatever energetic space they want to work on.
The idea of doing the same practice daily might sound a bit nuts at first - especially when you go on to read about the recommended durations to achieve specific effects, but, there is something incredibly beautiful in dedicating a portion of your day, every day, to yourself.
It is an amazing journey - soon you come to realise that though the practice is the same, the yoga, the meditation, feels different day in day out, that’s because a part of you is different every time you get on your mat.
Taking up a daily practice is a natural step on the path of yogis who want to deepen their practice - the safety net of a teacher, a class, a group, all falls away. What remains is you - and your commitment to yourself.
Even just one week of practising daily will change your vibration, but if you are serious about your intention, the following blocks deliver specific results:
40 days will release from the subconscious any beliefs or emotional patterns that block you from fully benefiting from the kriya/meditation. The negative habits are broken.
90 days establishes a new habit in the space of the old broken one(s) in the subconscious and conscious minds. This new habit relates to the qualities of the specific kriya and meditation being practised.
120 days the new habit is anchored in you, the positive benefits of the practice are rooted permanently in your psyche. The new habit is who you are.
1000 days Mastery! 1000 continuous days of practice results in mastery of the new habit. Not only is it part of your consciousness, but you can utilise it as you will.
